Based within the Minto Centre in Workington, and open since 2004, Footsteps Nursery is Ofsted registered to care for 108 children per session, with an age range of 3 months to 5 years. We have a purpose-built building that offers your child a safe and stimulating environment in which to grow.

A great place for children

Every child deserves to grow up with a safe, happy environment in which to learn and develop… so that’s what Little Footsteps strives to offer! Here’s how we do it:

Supporting children to reach their full potential: we do this in all areas of development by continually evaluating and planning to meet their individual needs.
Working in partnership with parents: we value your expertise and acknowledging them as their child's primary educator. You know your child better than anyone else.
Promoting a multiagency approach: we work closely with qualified teachers, family support workers, social services and health professionals to support your child.
