Childcare Practitioners
Footsteps Nursery is part of Westfield Housing Association and is Ofsted registered to provide care and early years learning to young children aged 3 months to 5 years. From its roots as a small neighbourhood nursery, Footsteps has grown to make provision for up to 200 registered children, with capacity for up to 108 children at each session. The nursery remains rooted in the local community, providing high quality, affordable and accessible childcare in a safe, caring, and creative environment. At its last three Ofsted inspections the nursery has been rated as ‘outstanding’
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who combine their knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with a desire to provide high quality early years education and care for all children. Applicants must possess a diploma/level 2 childcare qualification or equivalent as a minimum. If this describes you, we look forward to hearing from you.

Nursery Cook

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to take responsibility for planning, ordering and cooking nutritious lunches and snacks, in line with the nursery's healthy eating programme, as well as ensuring all food safety, hygiene & safety regulations and requirements are adhered to.
The menu provides one hot meal per day, with relevant adjustments for age & allergens.

£15,643 p.a. - £12 per hour
Roles Available: 25 Hours per Week
Monday to Friday
8:30/9:00 AM - 2:30/3:00 PM
Based at the Minto Centre, Westfield, Workington, Cumbria
