Getting the most out of nursery
Research has shown that babies and toddlers are receptive learners, provided that they have a safe and nurturing environment in which to learn, with adults they feel attached to, and who have the skills and experience required to help them. We are experienced at working with children who have SEND – please speak to us if your feel your child may need assistance.
At our purpose-built nursery in Workington, we work in line with Early Years theory, creating a consistently encouraging environment in which children can grow. This means that your child will have a safe and comfortable space in which to develop, cared for by our team of qualified Early Years professionals. All children learn in different ways and at different speeds, and all children are accommodated in our nursery. We are a member of both the National Day Nurseries Association and the Pre-School Learning Alliance, benefiting from research articles, publications and training. Sessions, fees, and vouchers
We are open from 7:30am until 5pm, Monday to Friday, including wrap around care for your children. Our fees are:

We are happy to accept childcare vouchers. Please contact the office for more information.
Payment
Cash: Pay at the office when you drop off or pick up your child.
By Card: Either pay at the office when you drop off or pick up your child, or ring the office on 01900 872011 with your card details to hand.

Enrolling your child
The first step to enrol your child is to visit us! It’s so important to ensure that the setting is right for your child and that you, as their parent, feel completely confident and comfortable with us. You can pop in and see us or make an appointment – if you make an appointment, we can ensure that the most appropriate senior team member is available to speak to you.
Once you’re happy that we’re the right choice for your small person, you simply need to complete the registration form and all relevant paperwork – if you need assistance with anything, please talk to the team. Once you have paid your registration fee your place is secure and free settling in sessions can begin. The length of each settling in sessions will increase until your child is happy to stay in nursery without you, and you’re confident that they’re in safe hands.
